Former pop star Kerry Katona is thought to have married cab driver Mark Croft in a private ceremony in Scotland.
The couple, whose wedding banns were posted in Gretna Green two weeks ago, are understood to have exchanged vows in the town’s Mill Hotel on Wednesday.

Five security men remained in the grounds of the hotel throughout the evening, but guests were tight-lipped.

Katona, 26, and Croft, 35, were engaged in January last year. The couple are expecting a baby girl in April.

Their low-key union was in stark contrast to Katona’s first wedding to Westlife star Brian McFadden.

They married in County Meath in Ireland with a reception for 200 guests held at nearby Slane Castle, reputedly costing £400,000.

Katona split from McFadden soon after she won the third series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in 2004.

Their divorce was finalised towards the end of last year.

Paparazzi were camped outside the Mill Hotel for Katona’s second wedding, but the star has reportedly sold photos of the ceremony to a celebrity magazine.

Guests arrived in a blacked-out people-carrier and security guards held up umbrellas to stop the waiting photographers catching a glimpse of the couple.

A group of fans who turned up hoping to catch a glimpse of the bride were left disappointed, but Mr Croft was later spotted gesturing to another of the guests

BRYAN McFADDEN has spoken for the first time of his joy - and tears - at becoming a father.

Moments after leaving hospital with fiancée Kerry Katona and new daughter Molly, he told me: "It’s one of the greatest feelings I’ve ever had in my life."

The Westlife hunk revealed that he blubbed like a baby when Molly arrived last Friday night.

Bryan, 21, said: "I’ve always wanted to have children but didn’t think I’d be a father so soon.

"You only realise what it’s all about when the baby finally arrives.

"All I was worried about was that the baby would be healthy, whichever sex it would be.

"Now I am just so proud that Molly is not only a healthy baby but also very, very beautiful.

"I could not be happier. Myself and Kerry feel so lucky.

"I broke down and cried when Molly finally arrived and I held her little body in my arms.

"She has Kerry’s blonde hair and she’s already shown she has a great pair of lungs."

Bryan, who has been dating ex-Atomic Kitten singer Kerry, 20, since July last year, added: "I’m taking a few weeks off to help now. I don’t want to do anything other than be around Kerry and Molly."

The baby was born after 18 hours’ labour at Dublin’s Mount Carmel Hospital. Bryan said: "Poor Kerry. Labour seemed to go on forever.

"She was great but I was a bundle of nerves."

Oh yes indeedy – Westlife have promised us another singalong epic when they release their new single on October 29. You won’t able to copy their – as seen on tour – dancing skills as you listen to (ahem) Queen of Hearts, but you will be able to sway your arms in the air in a My Love stylee (if you feel the need).

No we’re not sure whether it’s a tribute to the original queen of hearts, Princess Diana, but we doubt it.

Now we originally told you that the remix of When You’re Looking That That, which has been released in Europe would be the B-Side of a new track. This provoked quite a bit of disappointment (to say the least).

Well we’re not saying we were wrong (we were right at the time), but the record company has now opted for a bit of double A-Side action. So, everyone who suggested that When You’re Looking Like That would and should indeed by a single is sort of right as well.

However, it is Queen Of Hearts that we’ll be hearing on the radio and seeing the guys perform on TV. They’re not saying that When You’re Looking That isn’t good enough, but the guys understandably want to draw attention to the fact that they’ll be releasing an album of brand new songs. More news about that and the possibility of a Christmas tour, as soon as we receive official confirmation.
